A complete painting guide for crocodile, or alligator skin which could also be applied to any creature that is green and scaly.
In this video I demonstrate my ‘painterly’ competitive method for painting small areas and shallow detail. This model from CMON’s board game, ‘The World of Smog: Rise of Moloch’ was one of the many Kickstarter exclusives offered with your pledge – the Canopic Beast.
The method covered here uses thinned, nearly transparent layers of paint in many layers to achieve the required colour intensity and highlighting. It’s a long and tedious method that provides stunning results. Be warned – this is time-consuming.
